The breadandbutter lead exchange network (the "Service" or "we" or "us") is a web based lead exchange and business networking service that offers businesses ("providers" or "you") the opportunity to advertise their products and service and obtain qualified leads as well as the opportunity to find suitable other providers to take on projects or tasks on behalf of clients ("clients" or "you").

Acknowledge and Acceptance

  • These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the breadandbutter lead exchange. By ticking the check box at the end of the registration form stating "Accept terms and conditions" you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not purchase, user or access the Service.
  • You represent that you are 21 years of age or older and that you are capable of forming legally binding contracts under applicable law. If you do not qualify, you are not permitted to subscribe to or use the Service.
  • You are required to complete the registration form on the registration page in order to use the Service. You agree to provide true, accurate, complete and up-to-date information about yourself as requested in the registration form. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account, passwords, and files.
  • You acknowledge that, from time to time, it may be necessary for us to update or revise certain provisions of these Terms. We reserve the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which it offers the Service at any time and without notice, and reserve the right to (temporarily or permanently) discontinue, revise, modify or update any or all other aspects of the Service in its sole and absolute discretion, and we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service. Any such modifications will be deemed effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms, and your continued use of the Service following any such modification will be deemed your acceptance of the modified terms. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms, conditions, and notices, and any new terms posted. The most current version of these Terms may be reviewed at any time on the breadandbutter website.
  • If you do not agree to any of these Terms, or any future changes made to these Terms, your exclusive remedy is to cancel your subscription to the Service. Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, any new features, tools or products that change, augment, enhance or upgrade the current Service will be subject to these Terms.

Description of Service

breadandbutter offers a paid monthly membership subscription to Providers to contribute and receive leads for the purposes of selling their products and/or services as well as creating exposure and awareness for their business.
breadandbutter offers a free service to Clients who wish to engage with Providers for the purpose of obtaining their products or services for their use (project, job or task).

Membership and Payment

  • All members subscribe from month to month. Monthly membership is automatically renewed unless cancelled by the member.
  • Providers pay a monthly fixed subscription fee, in advance via debit order.
  • Should a debit order payment bounce, the provider's member account will be immediately blocked from receiving any leads until payment is received. All additional costs for collecting outstanding payments will be for the provider's account.
  • Clients may access the Service free of charge.
  • Membership may be terminated at any time by selecting the "close my account" button in the "My Settings" link on the website (after login). Alternatively members may email cancellations@breadandbutter.co.za to request cancellation.

Eligible Provider Accounts (Providers)

In order to maintain eligibility to receive leads, two conditions must be met:

  • Monthly subscription fee should be paid up - settled in advance
  • Account status should be open (and not blocked due to misconduct)

Lead Allocation (Providers)

  • Each lead or referral is automatically allocated to all relevant providers in the network.
  • The lead will be notified via email that member providers from breadandbutter will be contacting them about their requirements.
  • Each member has the option to contact the lead to make an ofer, submit credentials or quote to secure the business. Or you may choose to decline the opportunity.
  • It's totally up to the lead to decide which offer to accept and which provider member to work with, if any.
  • Outcomes of all lead interactions are transparent and are recorded on the website for members to view.

Lead Contribution

  • Every lead or referral posted on the breadandbutter lead exchange must be for a genuine need now or in the immediate future - whether posted by a provider or a client.
  • All leads are quality assessed and monitored and should a member be found to be posting unqualified or junk leads, the member's account will immediately be blocked from being able to poast leads and provider's will not receive any further leads.

Obtaining Leads

  • Leads are automatically allocated to eligible member accounts
  • You'll be notified by email every time you get a new lead so that you can respond immediately to take advantage of the opportunity.
  • All leads are posted to your breadandbutter account
  • The number of leads you get will fluctuate and is determined by your type of business and the natural demand for your product or service.
  • A portion of your monthly subscription fee is allocated to actively advertise for leads for your product or service category.

Cancellation

Membership may be cancelled at any time by selecting the "close my account" button in the "My Settings" link on the website (after login). Alternatively members may email cancellations@breadandbutter.co.za to request cancellation.

Effect of Termination

You understand and agree that the cancellation of your Account is your sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute with breadandbutter. breadandbutter will not be obligated to refund any membership fees if you cancel your Account for any reason.
If breadandbutter terminates your Account because you breach these Terms or any related agreements or guidelines, breadandbutter will have no liability to you or any third party because of such termination or action.
